Carving a Path to Fulfillment.
Linda Stubblefield has a long journey in financial services, shaped by significant struggles and, ultimately, triumphs. As a child with many siblings, she fondly remembers solo drives with her father where they would listen to the news and discuss the stock market, bonding in those moments. These conversations sparked her interest in finances, but she never thought it would be her career. In college, Linda pursued a degree in Journalism but ultimately chose to put her career on the back burner to raise a family. When she was ready to begin her career, she chose the financial sector and became a stockbroker. Working for a big-box financial firm, Linda was promoted to management, gaining valuable insight and redefining what integrity truly meant in this space.
Despite her accomplishments, Linda became disheartened by some of the dishonest business practices that occurred in the recession of 2008. She witnessed unethical practices by large firms and felt the emotional weight of clients, who were losing everything they had worked for. She began to question her own passion and pride in the profession, but eventually, this only fueled her motivation to truly help clients reach their dreams. She acquired her CDFA license and worked in divorce settlements before embarking on a two-year RV road trip with her husband to help cure her burnout.
Linda and her family moved to another state, where a family member introduced her to a friend in financial services. Although she was ready to retire, she couldn’t resist the urge to continue using her expertise to help people solidify their futures and live their dreams. Bedrock Asset Management was established with one goal: to help empower people in her community with the financial literacy needed to build solid futures. Linda believes that despite what stock brokers say, money is not a measure of your worth but a tool to help you live a life of purpose. Now a published author and public speaker, Linda dedicates her time to educating her community about financial concepts that will help propel them into a future they can be proud of.
